Mr. Gordon Clark Cranford Guest House 15 Glenshee Road, Braemar Aberdeenshire AB35 5YQ SCOTLAND UNITED KINGDOM Date: 15 August 2001 Concerns: KEY NUMBER FOUR Reference: JH/GC20010815 Torremolinos, 15th of August 2001 Dear Mr. Clark, As you will probably remember I visited your guest house from 27 till 28 December 1999. Herewith I have the Honour to send you some photographs of that visit.

When I returned in The Netherlands I found the key of your room Number Four in my bag. I did not know how to deal with the problem. Because of reasons of discretion I could not call neither send it back. So I decided to bring it back personally at the next occasion. The reason for writing you this letter now is that unfortunately I miss this key as from last Mondaymorning. It has probably been taken out of my bag, together with the original of enclosed form that I had prepared for the Torremolinos Police regarding the loss of two personal cards. I already discussed this subject with the Dirección General de la Policía in Madrid via telephone number 00 34 902 102 112 on last Friday the 10th of August 15.48 local time. I apologise for not having had the occasion to bring your key back in an earlier stage but hope that you have solved this little inconveniance. With kind regards, JOHN L. VAN DER HEYDEN SPAIN
